Anything electronic around the house I'm almost clueless. She has to program the microwave oven, the TV, the VCR, the CD player. I'm totally lost. Thank God she has those practical skills or we wouldn't even be able to watch TV. We once had a 2nd hand vacuum cleaner which didn't work, and she found another broken cleaner in the house of the same make, so took both of them apart and made one functioning vacuum out of the two broken ones. But yes, I do have a fairly good memory when it comes to stuff I've read.
