If you think back to what many Family members thought about Jesus, and how they preached a simple Gospel, you could get the impression that the Family as a whole must have had an uncluttered idea of Jesus. And from there it's easy to think, "Well, that must've come from Berg."
Whereas even most Family members have a strange concept of Jesus, taken straight from the Letters. Not only was he "created" by God (and thus not eternal) but like bible student said, had VD, was born by the angel Gabriel, etc. And then of course when the LJR came along they had an even stranger concept of Jesus with a perpetual hard on. And of course, this Jesus was a wrathful, vengeful 'deity' puking disloyal Family members out of his guts.
