I always used to wonder how in the Bible it says there would be those that said, 'but, Lord, haven't we done many great works in your name?' And he answered them 'Depart from me,you workers of iniquity for I never knew you', until after getting out of the fam and gettings it's weird sick doctrines out of me.
It makes sense that one big chunk of denial that keeps many members in the family is their many "good works" like, look at our 'good kiddie viddies, souls won, missionary work, etc.' but their message and their candy coating of good works is just a covering of what they are truly about which is hooked into following a falsely divining control freak.
I guess they don't realize that those "good works" bait people for the sick twisted stuff like the LJR and other family weird and/or controlling doctrines that separate families siblings (in many cases) and demand dependence on a person ("mama") rather than God.
I hope that people get out. Sometimes they stay just because they have been there so long and have no place known to go to. Or they have many children and feel helpless to get out and stuck where they are ON TOP of the learned false guilt heaped upon them by the fam. leaders for even THINKING bad thoughts about their leaders or their strange and perverted doctrines.
