About quoting Bible refs, I marvel that people can do that and that those little numbers actually stick in their heads. I once heard about a couple guys in the Family who knew their Bibles so well that when they got in a doctrinal argument, they simply quoted the references to each other.
If I'd have been there, I'd have missed the entire point of what they were talking about. I often have to go to great lengths to clarify a point simply because I get so easily confused at times.
