I'm with Fred, I rarely read anything that isn't from the ancient of days(when it comes to theology) Sometimes I start and I hit a snag, see a red flag and just shudder and put it down.
I do read a lot of escapism type stuff. Plus all my Uni work. And the Bible. (I'm with you there, I enjoy the NIV and find it so much clearer, putting things in clear English, although sometimes the translation isn't what I expect, but comparing it with other seems to give it nice meduim)
