I think you could try reading some of the books by T. Lobsang Rampa such as "The Third Eye" and "Doctor From Lhasa". These deal with how the world evolved and Mankind. From reading these books and others about Tibetan Buddhism, it seems that the Earth may have gone through one "Armageddon" already, many thousands of years ago.Interesting stuff !
