Of course God is with people in the Family right now. He may answer their prayers for needed money for food and rent, and for their children to be safe from traffic accidents. He possibly even heals them when they sincerely pray -- tho it seems to me from hearing Family prayer requests that the power of healing is largely gone from the Family.
And if they would only desperately pray for Him to show them if they are in a cult or not, whether the Family's teachings and polices are wrong and abusive, and to help them get out, He would show them and help them get out as well.
