human life on earth is so black and white? personally, i believe that the family is by no means a united monolitic group that all move in unity, etc. (was it so when you were in?) it is a collection of individuals, w/ a wide variety of personalities and motivations, and many differing levels of understanding. each one experiences many different things in their day-by-days. most have daily lives full of childcare, homeschooling, some efforts to demonstrate their love and God's love to people in need... the poor, orphans etc. they are not molesting children. they pray w/ people to accept Jesus, using the simple salvation verses that most missionaries would use. (while i certainly agree that the jesus p&m espouse in their revelations is not the God of the bible, from personal experience and conviction, that individuals are not all convinced of these things, and continue to try and rely on "cognitive dissonance" to see them thru. isn't that one of the reasons brasil got in trouble...only preaching Jesus and not the family?)
it seems to be a "minority report" around here, but i believe Jesus Christ still is involved w/ many members of the family. i pray he will guide them out, as he did us. but a worldveiw that leaves God unable to interact w/ individuals, even sadly misled individuals, is incomprehensible to me.
