but both your posts are giving me some more to think about, the individual dimension. The problem I see is that it may very well be too subjective. When we have the specific knowledge as to the charicature currently portrayed by the Family as Jesus and compare it with the real Jesus from the Bible, that is not subjective.
I say this with all respect so please don't be offended but Family members who sincerely believe that they have the genuine portray of Jesus so they call themselves genuine Christians, don't realize that the real Jesus is something else.
I think part of the equation must be what a verse calls "love for the truth", which will eventually strengthen the connection with the Holy Spirit - the only real teacher.
Hmm, I have to do some more thinking about this.
