If I heard that someone was using my name to abuse or hurt others, claiming these evils in my authority, I would do all I could to stop them, to prevent the crime to continue, and esp. if I was God with all the power I would lay claim to, couldn't I at least do something to have stopped Berg and the cult so that innocent children or unsuspecting sincere people weren't lured into or hurt by those abusing my name?
Which is why I figure either God isn't there, or God didn't care enough to step in on our behalf.
