Believing in Christ, is believing in the truth. The foundation was not Christ even though we mouthed the name(there is quite a bit debate here I know in this statement, but this is drawn from my own conclusions after much study)
We can't say we had Christ and were Christians when we lived after the flesh. That makes us just like the world.
I don't believe I was truly a Christian while in the Family even though some of the works I did were good, it did not counter balance the evil work that was going on.
It wasn't just mistakes we made, we followed false doctrines, if doctrines are false that means they can not save you. If they are false there is no truth in them, and as we now know, Jesus is the truth and the light and there is NO darkness in Him.
