It is a powerful and simple explanation. God was there to speak with us and we wre not willing to listen. The minute we decided to listen, things clicked in our heart and the insanity was there. For some people, including me, it was a gradual evolution, as Rocky explained. For some it happened while they were in The Family, for others it took place after leaving The Family. I guess the rule is that there is no rule.
Kathy, I really like your posts and enjoyed your example of a child in front of a car. It is making me think a lot, pondering how representative it is of our joining The Family. I have to accept that it certainly seems so but the image of a God leading one into temptation still bothers me a little.
