The point though is that the crimes were being perpetrated on innocent children in His Name, His power was being abused, and it has happened all through the centuries, not just with the Family. With most ordinary criminals, the person doesn't say, 'I'm going to rape you cause God said I should...' and so God isn't involved in the crime, it is the person themselves and their own evil.

But people who use God as an excuse to commit their crimes are more despicable cause they leave behind not only a crime, but a confusion in people who are too innocent (not only in years, but perhaps in understanding, knowledge or exposure) to know differently, and so the crime is linked to 'God' and therefore 'God' is responsible.

Yes, Jesus did warn about the false prophets, and that's all fine and dandy if you can
1) read
2) have access to a Bible

A child cannot read, and even if they did, the average child probably would not be reading the Bible, and if they were, they probably would not be understanding a lot, or have the experience to equate the words they are reading to the situation they are in. I mean, I didn't even do it until I was in my mid-20s, and I was reading the KJBible at 5 years-old.

So, if God is real and true, and if He loves us so very dearly, and esp. those of us who love and honored and gave our lives in dedication to His service, why did He not interefere in a destructive situation where the destruction was being perpetrated in His Name? It seems to me that almost any other king on earth would go to greater lengths to make sure his kingdom and subjects were being treated better.
