Dear Alan, I agree with everyone here on how inspiring your life is. Such a refreshing post. I love that you're so positive despite all that you've been through. I can't imagine being in your shoes with all the losses you've had to endure. It's very clear from your story that it's your faith that got you through it all. But I'd like to ask you a few questions that may help me in my journey, if you don't mind? Were there times when you doubted God? Or even blamed him for your losses? for your joining the COG? How did you manage to overcome that? what about regrets? did you have any? How do you see your years in the cult? Do you see them as part of your journey? or separate?
