It is a nice explanation. I haven't seen pics of me in the fam but I imagine its is the same. In a passport trip to Portugal in the overnight train we were 'witnessing' to somebody when this other person showed up. We didn't identified as COG (of course, being in a selah situation) but he picked it up right away and started putting them down. One of the things he said, and stick with me all this time, is that "they all look the same, talk the same way and have the same look". It took me a long time to figure that one out.
I am thinking more and more that it is difficult or impossible to know what is happening to others, even people in The Family, because we don't really know how God is dealing with them. If we accept that God is dealing with everybody, then He has His hand on all of them, including the berg, peter and maria, and others, otherwise He would be playing favorites.
The problem I have is to discern Family members. Are the good things that nice Family members do because they are nice or because they are Christian? If there are some Christians in The Family, do we witness to them so they wake up? Do we somehow encourage or ar active in some form to wake them up? Do nothing and just love them because they are in God's hands?
Like I said before, I am not sure if we are using the right terminology because one can be a sleeping Christian and another can be just a nice person. How could we know, or is it even important that we know?
