Miguel, that was very kind of you. And thank you for your advice, yes, I believe in some sort of spiritual world, whether it is actual 'demons and angels' and such, or more along the lines of departed ancestors, I'm not sure, I've never had a real 'spiritual' experience, though I have heard footsteps in my living room once and lived in a definitely weird house.
I think at this point of time I view everything coming my way with a touch of scepticism, and refuse to embrace any one particular idea, theology, or, as you say, if a spirit were to come along, whether beautiful or ugly, I would hesitate to devote myself to it entirely. I recently joined a wicca group in order to understand more about this religion, but found the religious devotion to the 'gods and godesses' and the high level of worship towards these entities too much for my liking and removed myself from the group. I prefer to study from an educational viewpoint as opposed to a 'searching for the truth' viewpoint.
