I would have to respectfully disagree, simply knowing my own experience and knowing those who were with me and around me in the Family. I believed in all the doctrines of devils because there was the veil of cult mind control over my eyes. Like Kathy talked about being sort of in a zombie state in the Family. But when the time came that I was willing to receive the truth, the veil was removed, I began having trouble with the formerly-accepted doctrines, then began rejecting them, then --after leaving the Family-- repented of them and renounced them. Yet through it all I did not lose my love for Jesus or my salvation. I can't explain it, I don't condone it but all I can say is I am thankful to be out of that toxic faith-destroying group.
