It's also hard for me to relax. I'm really driven to achieve. Some of this may be personality and background, but I do think TF is responsible for loading us with that guilt you're talking about.
We really do have to make time for ourselves, be alone with our thoughts, let the mind wander, retreat into a private world, pamper ourselves, get entertained.
We've been taught to save everyone but ourselves. I come to realize that that was such a works trip. We can't help anyone if we have no inner strength. We can't gain any inner strength without making time for ourselves. It's always good to take time off from all your must do's. TF taught us to stay distracted, operate on auto-pilot mode, so we don't have time to think or listen to our inner voices. They had so much bullshit about "Stop Look Listen" but in reality, it was stay distracted in case you start thinking.
My advice: Enjoy life. Soak in a tub till your skin wrinkles. Put your feet up! Get lazy. Bum out! Don't worry about it! You sound far too responsible to get carried away turning into a bum. Tell your kids you're going to have 1 lazy day every month, and tell them they have to do all the housework, because you're on vacation. :-)
