today i feel better. thank you for your concern and prayers. a good friend and her daughter have been camping out here with me, tending to my every need. :) the op actually went extremely well. i had a good surgeon, and only had to have a spinal anesthetic. first time i have ever had surgery, so a learning experience.
anyway, nice to have cyber community that cares, as well as a local one. i don't pray as much as i should, but stuff like surgery reminds me how vulnerable we/i am.
so thank you!
i can now shuffle around on my own -- in the appartment, so my caregivers are pulling up stakes.
