Beliefs vs. Actions

In my opinion, the difference is that we are free to believe whatever we want without restriction. We are held accountable for what we do.

I believe that the ethical stance should be that our rights do not infringe on the rights of others. Alternative groups do have the right to exist and believe whatever they want, they don't have the right to violate the rights of their members or their member's children. People who disagree with the Family have the right to voice their views and take action as long as the rights of others are not violated.

Just my opinion here but it seems a bit presumptuous to try to destroy the Family to protect society. Adults have the right to make their own choices, even when they are harmful. They then have to live with and accept responsiblity for the consequences of those descisions. However, making sure that information is available so that people are fully informed does seem like a worthy cause and I do agree with that.
