i find it curious that it is quite common to hear such descriptions and generalizations applied to folks w/ an "evangelical" worldveiw , often in the same breath when one is appealing for tolerance, and accusing this "group" of being intolerant.(isn't that somewhat self contradicting?) there are no doubt numerous adherents to the general outlook commonly described as "evangelical" or "fundamentalist" who are intolerant or judgmental in their attitudes, but also many who are not. (and much diversity of opinion w/in that grouping as well!!)
but, i guess i might know what you are driving at. still, if there is a "universal ethical standard".. i am curious from what "legitimate source" does it derive?
