I only wish you could understand how my heart aches when I listen to these "us" and "them" discussions, with one or the other--secularists and religionists--demonizing the other.
No one wants to impute malevolent intent to themselves, and it is far too easy to impute malevolent intent toward others. I meant no malevolent intent toward evangelicals or fundamentalists, only wondered if there is a safe place in their world for others who will never be one of the club.
