MG, you wrote this down below, but it's a new topic all on its own so I'm reposting it here. You were talking about writing your daughter & said:

We've had lots of good stuff to tell her about concerning our lives and our other kids lives since we've left, even though there's been, and still are problems that we deal with. But being able to deal with the problems has been good news too, being responsible to ourselves and others, learning self worth, this is great stuff, and we didn't really do this in the Fam. In the Fam problems usually meant God's judging you. You missed the mark somewhere. You sinned.

So you pray and ask for forgiveness and delivrance, and you do "word studies". But you don't learn to assume personal responsibility. And the last thing you can do in the Fam is to give yourSELF credit for making it through a difficult time, because it was your fault or the devil's or the system's to begin with, and only God, being in the Fam, and 'the keys' could solve the problem. After all, YOU are your own worst enemy.
