I rember when I was in the fam in Honduras, Central America. These American Mormons dressed in their typical attire of grey dress-slaks, white shirt, and dark tie, would set up an easel in central park. They would place posters of Jesus talking to the Mayan indians. Oh brother...talk about kook-burgers!
Reminds me of an old addage: If you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything.
The whole Mormon doctrine is based upon the supposed messages that an angel named "Moroni" gave to Joseph Smith. Remember what the Bible warned about testing the spirits to see whether they are of God? It warned that even Satan can appear as an angle of light. (Joseph Smith's Moroni?)
