Another way that the Family is hypocritical is in having "system jobs". When the "Conviction vs.Compromise" series came out and other such type "getting on board" GN's, it was stressed that we won't be suddenly living by faith in the endtime and having full faith then unless we practice living by faith now. So, it was stressed that Family members should re-evaluate their support system. If you are a "night singer", are you just "tickling their ears" or are you singing the songs of the spirit. If you are a "ballooner", are you just entertaining or are you really feeding their souls. If you are a so-called pastor performing wedddings, are you giving them a message or just getting a good salary, or if you're an English teacher, are you just a Christian English teacher, or are your giving them God's word for today? So, most homes had to evaluated where they stood on this fundemental issue. Because you see, most of us had to pound the pavements for hours on end in the litnessing days and go DTD until we have our daily quota or our rent for the month. We FGA's were getting tired and wanted something more to help us with our monthly expenses... so these other means of support popped up. But, according to Maria, a person isn't really living by faith unless you are spending the same amount of time promoting the Family tools as you would be spending in an 8-hour system job. Why oh why wouldn't we WANT to be out promoting the wonderful Family tools anymore... why she wonders. The Activated magazine is supposed to be the retirement security for the older farts (I mean FGA's). You see, if you are giving out the Activated faithfully and starting up your own "church" (we are supposed to hate church, right?), and getting these faithful attendees to come and tithe their 10%, then you will be a pastor all set to retire in the green pastures of heavenly security. That is the honest truth from the GN's. Maria expects us to believe that the world is so so hungry to hear the "new shit" from her, the witch of the spirit. She is really blind. Promoting all the latest doctrines draws more people away... as we see in Brazil, they didn't even sell Family tools or witness in the holy name of the Family... God forbid!
So now, there are still Family members doing the same kind of jobs... weddings, ballooning, bazaars, clowning at birthday parties, teaching, modelling, and believe or not... selling cars. But somehow, these CM people "heard from the Lord" and now it's sanctified. But the VS's (visiting shepherds) tend to close their eyes because these homes have the BEST income and TITHE!!! If you give out the Activated magazines while on a job or you sell Family tools, then it is somehow sanctioned as permissable. What do you think?????
