One thing that unfortunately kept me in TF so long was being duped into believing that this end-time harvest of millions was just around the corner. This was standard stuff in Berg’s letters from the very beginning. At the same time there were the predictions of coming persecution, another "proof" that TF was really the only group really getting the job done, was really God's so-called chosen elite. Over and over and over again since TF began, prophecies of this sort have been dished out in many a sundry form, year in and year out. Sadly, it works. These are control tactics.
The coming great harvest> As Josiah, the typical average Fam member, looks at his grass roots reality: "Things really do suck, but look how fantastic it's soon going to be."
The coming persecution> Like in the movie "Independence Day": Having the enemy, “them”, untited the whole world, so Jo, the average family member, thinks "The Vandari, the anti-christ system, they're marshalling their forces against us God's chosen people. No time to question or doubt, it's time to unite and fight together, I’d do best to obey the chosen prophets of the end."
