This board has become a really interesting place with good people. When I posted before it was mostly 3 nuts, Joshue and Postman Pat and Byron. I wrote this below, and maybe I'll get some more response this time.
Has anyone here ever had pyschic experiences? When I left TF, I found meyself going throug a spiritual awakening. I had a near death experience and when I got back to this world I started seeing auras. I thought I was hallucinating at first, but there too many consistensies, to make a long story short:) Suddenly I was able to read palms. Of course at the time I thought this was totally cool, from reading about Madamme(sp?) M. and all the other letters. It was fun to be able to look into a strangers hands and tell them all kinds of things nobody else could know. I was so good at it people started giving me money, but they always wanted some sort of guidance and they were looking for answers and that's what they were paying for. I didn't undestand it then, but I knew deep inside that I had nothing to give them, no adbice or anything useful, and even when I did I felt they should go find out for themselves. I could never really tell the future, but I could uncover the past. A few things happened to scare me into realizing I didn't want to go down the guru road. One time, this girl from NZ had me look in her hands, and I started my usual stuff trying to impress her, and I told her to count the number of things I said that nobody else could know, and she counted to 75, then she got really scared, and she pulled her hand away. The last thing I said was I saw her in a conflict with 3 peopl, and that there was sex involved, and it changed her liffe ina big way and that it happened recently in the country we were in, and that there was a conflict between some people about who would have her first, netx and last. I didn't realy undestand what I was describing. Off she went to Japan, conintuing on her trip around the world. Suddenly, 2 weeks later, she looked me up in another city, and she told me that she just couldn't go on with her trip. She told me that she had been drugged, mugged and raped before I first met her, and she was left in a hotel room on the floor naked. She had vague memories coming back, and knew that there were 3 men involved, and they were fighting about who would get to rape her first. She had already reported as much as she could to the police. Then she went to the resort where I met her, to try to forget and to enjoy herself. That's when she met me and I told her all this stuff so she couldn't forget. The end result was I had not only her, but a bunch of women following me around, looking for answers, believing I was some kind of guru. It was in a country where people fall for stuff like that in every corner. I told them a ll to go home, and that I had no answers for them. I wasn't aboutt o start my own cult! Later on, I read a book I really loved by Richard Bach called, the Adventures of a Reluctant Messaih. It was a very interesting and ebntertaining book that defies description. It had to do with the messiah complex. I soaked up everything about it. That was one of the books that helped me on a road to spritual recovery. I will take a look at amazon.com to see if there are any gists written up. I'm really bad at book summaries. Anyway, just wanted to share that and ask if anyone else had similr things happen. Oh yea I forgot to mention, as soon as I made a decision to have my feet on the ground, that psychic ability disappeared eventually.
