They decided to keep Jane overnight for observation. She is still in some pain, and her blood pressure is still high. They want to do a treadmill test on her tomorrow and see how that goes. They really haven't given any kind of prognosis yet.
I brought Casey home and we will stay here tonight. We are only about fifteen minutes from the hospital. She is in a normal room, not intensive care or anything like that.
Her father died of a heart attack when he was younger than Jane is now. Her mother also had her first heart attack in her fourties, and has suffered multiple strokes since then. So, she really has to watch it.
It does amaze me that someone who is 4'11", weighs about 98 lbs, does not smoke, rarely drinks (when she does two glasses of wine puts her under the table), hardly eats a thing, climbed Mt. Whitney a few months ago up and down in less than 24 hours... can end up having problems like this.
I just want everyone to know how much we appreciate the prayers and kind thoughts.
