You are right. All of us were in the same sort of mind trip and now we are in in one, our own, of many journeys towards what we hope will be a better day some time in the future.
The main difference is our particular set of beliefs and they are quite different from person to person. I am currently a Christian, know my Bible and still read it. I am most of the time inclined to do the outwardly things good Christians are supposed to do plus a few of the things I do in my own closet. I feel a bit offended by people who don't respect my beliefs but I am also offended by those, specially Christians, who won't respect the beliefs of others, as long as they are not stepping on anybody else's toes either. It is difficult to judge that though so the best thing is to stay out of it and let the guidelines be "the leaders". Ooops! I mean, the guide.
Christians and non-Christian can be narrowminded so let'us be some what tolerant and keep helping out others. This will be even more important to strengthen the testimony of those who are Christians. Let's remember 1 Cor. 13.
