Well, your statement is incorrect. I had no problem finding an example of two posters who were recommending that very thing, and as you can see from the example below, they consider it courageous to suspend your beliefs.

So true! I would add that suspension of certainty about previously held beliefs also takes a tremendous amount of trust in your higher power. I have learned
to walk with serenity in a cloud of unknowing about many things of a spiritual nature. I've also learned to trust that ultimately, no matter what happens--even
if god is silent and all religion is a lie, "all will be well."
