I mean, some of the most homophobic people have those tendencies and hate themselves for that. If this is the case, there are places that can help you to come to terms with your sexuality, if this is the problem.
Or did you have a gay family member or a wife that left you for another woman? I have seen people with the reasoning that you embrace and these are some of the more common reasons for it..
Of course, if you are too afraid that you will be burnt to a crisp, it is certainly your discretion as to whether or not you want to espouse a fear reaction towards those that are gay or lesbian.
