Glad you liked it. It's funny because it's true (at least to this beer connoisseur) and the best jokes are those that have some truth in them.
Here in the U.S., we have a very popular restaurant chain called "Outback Steak House" and as a commercial gimmik, they use an Australian theme for the name of the restaurant and the menu items. They used to offer an Australian beer called "Old Aussie Stout" that was as dark as molasses. It was a superb brew. Went really well with their rack of lamb and Cabernay sauce. For some unknown reason, they stopped carrying that beer. I suppose most yanks found it too strong compared to the watered-down excuse we call American beer. Tip a pint for me, won't you?
BTW: Do Aussies chill their beer or do they have that strange Brittish custom of drinking it luke-warm?
