In case you haven't noticed, the world is more than amply populated!! Also, not all hetero's can have children. Some choose not to. I am sure you would not expect them not to marry?
The homosexual orientation is MINORITY. Always has been always will be. Perhaps it is more apparent because the world has grown, the population has grown. Maybe it is part of God's plan? (No, I don't see what I just said as sacreligious).
As for me and my partner, She has two grown daughters, I have three grown sons. Neither of us can reproduce now anyway.
But there are many lesbians having children and gay men too. Sexuality is something their kids won't "catch". None of ours did. ')
