It has never reached the levels of destruction that the communist did against their own people! Talk about control!
communism in it's short term of life on earth has surpassed accumulatively all the past horror that has been perpetuated in the name of 'religion'.
There have always been horrors going on, but it has never surpassed what has happened in communist countries, when life is nothing more then an egg to be cracked to make an omelette.
Religion does and has offered restraint. Not to say that there have not been horrors perpetrated in it's name. I'm just saying it's even worse, when you leave God totally out of the picture, as has been proven.
