I think Yancey is exactly right. His books have given me lots to think about. Even though I may not agree with him on every point, it's nice to know that he wouldn't presume to ask me to. That is one of the big lessons to be learned from our experience in the Family: that even truth is not meant to be used as a blunt instrument to bludgeon or threaten people into submission.
