Yes, I know Peter. We worked together in Costa Rica back in the early 70s in the COG.
You would love Costa Rica, especially if you are into surfing or snook fishing. Costa Rica has surf on its Pacific coast that is legendary. They have huge waves that run parallel to the beach, and you can ride some for almost a mile!
Their snook fishing is world-class, and if you're into eco-tours, they have preserved a great deal of their jungle and rain forests. You can drive a car up to the top of Volcan Poaz, an extinct volcano, and look down into its crater. On a clear day, you can see both the Carribean and the Pacific from atop Poaz. I don't know if you are single, but Costa Rican women are considered to be the most beautiful in all of Central America.
