Peaceman,
You are comparing apples with oranges. People like Martin Luther King and Ghandi were using peaceful protest against the civil rights abuses in their respective nations.
That cannot be compared to a nation defending itself against the armed aggression of another country. Christ said to turn the other cheek, but in Luke chap. 22, he also told his disciples to buy some swords. When one of the disciples replied "Lord, we have two swords," Jesus said, "That's enough." Look at what Jesus did in the courtyard of the temple. He made himself a whip, and went on the attack against the money-changers and merchants, swinging his whip and dumping over their tables. That certainly wasn't a pacifistic act, was it?
You have the right to say and think whatever you like. Just remember that soldiers fought and died for your right to do so.
