Dear porceleinedoll....
I am new here, so I hope my answer doesn`t come
untimely.I am happy for everyone here, who has left the family; I was a fulltime member of the
family from 1976-1992, that is rather until 89,
where we left Madras, India and until 1992 we were
on our own...I think TRFers was then the abbreviation for it??!

Mentioning hypocrits...Mt. 23 is quite strong
language; there are religious leaders who appear
so good, they tithe about everything & inwardly
they are a mess....I guess many times I also had that attitude, thank God I am better than others, more revolutionary, more dedidicated...

Truth you find in every religion, in every country
& spot of the world (e.g. Ps.90 & Romans 1)...
But where do you find abudance of truth, not only a bit...

A good friend of mine, who is fluent in Hebrew, told me the following: aleph is letter und number (1), met means dead one , aemet then would be the first dead and also means at the same time truth.
Adam & eve, i n the day they would eat of the tree of the knowledge of good & evil woul die...

They died (1 day equalling here with God 1000years) before the end of that day, before 1000
years were over. They realized, that God was meaning what He said, latest after 900 & so years,
that that was the truth...
"teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom" Psam 90:12
That`s the truth all over the world, from the first dead so to speak; we also have to die & I
wouldn`t swap the answer Jesus got to that problem
with any answer I otherwise heard... & I read up before joining the family quite a few answers, which didn`t satisfy me!Besides what book more prophetic than the Bible can you read??

Three years ago I had the privilege, to attend a
one week seminary about caring for people`s souls,
the ministry of helping, that Jesus binds up the wounds (Isaiah 61:1)...It was conducted in Switzerland by an Indonesian Evangelist & in the first hours he really stressed, that being a
Christian is not so much in the first place what you wear or not wear, eat or not eat, faithful wordtime, tithing, refraining from this & that,
songs of praise sung, attending church etc. etc.
but: Jesus in us, in you, in him, her & me...

Acts 11:26: And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch

A Christian is a follower of Jesus, he does what He shows them...in that regard the Christianity in
the family is heavily reduced, cause they do things, He couldn`t have possibly shown them, it`d
be not in accordance with His word, even if they try hard to twist it to there liking.

If you`d take away Jesus from someone so to speak, he wouldn`t be a Christian anymore...without me ye can do nothing...We should know, whether we are
His children, whether He entered in...(Romans 8:16)...That`s something pretty (all-) important.
I wish we`d all remembered that & knew that for sure.I admire the (Ex) Teens, for what they went through & had to endure...much more seemed to have happened, where I`ve not been in the family, but
it`s bad enough, that I held still, after reading a lot of things I knew was not in line with the Gospel (social-peer-Pressure??..not knowing wither to go??...afraid to fall short of His highest???...Berg is only exagerating, not 100%
meaning what he`s saying, all rhetoric)
I wish you all a wonderful future...the last 11 years were a gain, although smashing things happened, I wound up happier, healthier (saner)
than ever before. So it pays to be a follower of Christ in the right direction, that is out of the family... Heartfelt greetings Jürgen
