I went to the website anovagrll gave where they go into an explanation of what this verse could mean in light of Jewish burial customs, it was very interesting and really shows you how being simplistic can be nothing but ingnorance. It's criminal how Berg took advantage of our ignorance. I think the hippy idealism of the age was a simplistic mind set in itself. I think it was this, my own lack of self esteem, and the desire to belong to something, that created the vulnerability that Berg preyed upon.
