About Moving On: I just noticed you posted quite of few things over there. I have a daughter who participates in the discussion of there too. I often go there to read what the lastest articles and discussions, it's very informative. But I don't post over there.
Did you read the top of the Moving On homepage: "Welcome to Moving On -- The website created by and for young adults with parents who joined the religious organization The Family / Children of God."
Since you are a first generation member you might find the going pretty tough especially if you try to discuss doctrine over there.
There are some posts on the moving on site from FGs who became certified counsellors, researchers, etc., in the field of abuse. These are about the only kind of posts that are in general well received by the SG community at Moving On.
Maybe things are evolving and you might have better reactions that others have had.
