I was trying to remember the various "bashings" that took place in the ML's to give us all fear to keep us in our proper places. What do these messages tell the Family members... heed the words of the prophet or you'll be judged by GOD! FEAR tactics! Please add to the list if you can:

Faithy (she finally got her day after socking it to so many others - the message - obey in the least of the commandents!)
Debra (the message - don't disobey the prophet... even though he's your own father!)
*remember the letter about Berg's dream about Debra going back to the churches? In Berg's eyes, this was worse than hell! Compromise was the message!
Alexander the Magician - evil... the message - don't go against the prophet
