I was referring to the idea that the Family might have murdered him.
I do think that The Family had a whole lot to do with putting him into the condition that eventually lead to his death. The isolated community, with no preparation for the outside world. The high probability that he was sexually abused. The effects of child labor, and very likely a poor education.
