Hi Susie! I may have seen you while I was there. I was fishing Nonoy... the newspaper journalist who was the "airport" contact. He was the one who let Berg in the country, as well as Margie's crew from Sri Lanka. Armando certainly met Berg... it was like this "shiner prize" for being such a blessing to the F. Yes, Charity was his favorite, but she also was close to the newspaper editor... did you read Ed's "Manila Story"? I was living there during all of that, but it was very interesting to know more about "behind the scenes" stuff. Did you live in Paranaque? Yes, the filipinos were such easy prey... but thank God for the "persecution" and the country could have a break from the F.! I left in 1987. How about you?
