I heard a lot of that goes on in the military. My daughter was a reservist for awhile. She said that the sergeants and all were having affairs with all the young recruits and everyone knew they were married. Remember, these are 17 and 18 year old girls. Makes me wish we'd go back to separating the sexes again in the military. I was sorry I let her enlist. It would be hard to remain "applie pie" in that kind of environment and pressure.
Lynch has gotten the press that she has because her story lifted the nations spirits when our soldiers had been captured and flaunted on television. Maybe she didn't do anything special or isn't anyone special, but the fact that she enlisted, went over there, was captured and found in the midst of the battle is what endeared people to her.
