The Armenians are a very forgiving people. All they want nowadays is recognition of what happened in the past and for the Turkish government to own up to it. They would also like retribution as so much of their money and insurance policies were lost or taken.
My friend told me that when she was a new Christian and came to the states with her then husband, an Armenian family befriended them on the beach and later brought her food so she could have a little taste of home. I think that's also Christianity at its best and what Christianity is about.
