Hello Erika,
You are not alone in feeling this way. All of us ex-members have gone through a loss of faith in some measure. Many no longer believe in anything spirituall, due to the awful experiences they had in this cult.
I left the family in early 1974, after 4 years as a member. I felt so badly burned and betrayed by Berg. I even felt betrayed by God, so naturally, when I left the fam, I didn't want anything to do with religion.
This left a spritual vacume in my soul that I attempted to fill with other things...drugs, sex, etc. Well, those other things only lead me down a dead-end path.
It took a near fatal encounter with an 11 1/2 foot alligator to make me turn back to the one who had given his life for me on Calvary.

I will be praying for you that you will find a true and everlasting faith in Jesus Christ, and that you can find a body of like-minded believers in your area, with which you can fellowship. With the Lord's help, you can seperate the truth from the garbage.
