Thanks for the encouragement. Yeah, a friend once compared me to a Timex watch...takes a licking and keeps on ticking. ;)
I'm still doing the job search. It's often discouraging, but I have seen how the Lord has taken care of all my family's needs during my unemployment.
I have taken advantage of the free time to enjoy frequent outings with my wife and two children (ages 8 and 5). I've been teaching my 8-year old son some basic carpentry (teaching him to read a tape-measure was a real challenge). We recently built an animal trap, and are enjoying catching and releasing racoons. We live out in the countryside, and are surrounded by lots of woods, so all kinds of wildlife wanders into our backyard, including deer, wild hogs, bob-cat, and otter. The wild hogs have been a real pain-in-the-neck though, rooting up our yard and leaving big holes. We've been trapping them, and some have been converted into ribs and sausage!
