Alan stated his views clearly but in no stronger words than Eva stated hers. Why should you be particularly upset at Alan? This forum is for honest discussion of views, and by that it is assumed that readers/posters actually hold views. While it's understandable that there's a backlash against specifically "Christian" views because of our Family experience, again, I did not find Alan's views any more pushy than Eva's. Both have clearcut views and both make no beefs about sharing their views in very frank terms.
Below I disagreed with someone about gnostic views and it's apparent that both I and the other poster held different views. That's the whole thing about being out of the Family: we're alllowed to have different views. I certainly respect your position of being a non-Christian but other people are entitled to their views as well. I think Eva is more than up to the task of answering what Alan said without being offended.
