Yes, I am a coordinator here also. I did not see Alan's viewpoint in this particular post that you are referring to as being a put down, but simply stating his viewpoint, which he is entitled to. Others stated their viewpoints just the same, but he did not agree and stated his viewpoint. I did not see anything dogmatic or preaching or instructing. Of course, you are welcome to disagree with him and explain why. It would be a good discussion, but to simply sniff at him as being dogmatic and dismissing others' beliefs and therefore unworthy of a conversation, then that leaves no room for discussion. Of course, a Christian would make this statement because it is part of their belief system. If you can disprove that it is not biblical, then go right ahead.
