Go back and re-read my original message to Eva. My reference to God not being the author of confusion ties in with what I believe is a sound logical argument:
How can a person embrace a belief or philosophy which is composed of completely contradictory ideas? Let's take it out of the religious arena, and use a secular example:
Would it make sense for someone to say they embrace the political doctrines of Marxism and capitalism? Of course not. The two political systems are in total disagreement with each other, and any country that attempted to apply it would tear itself apart.
This is the same logical argument I offered to Eva. I say that Christianity, Bhuddism, and Hinduism have irreconcilable differences, and any attempt to mix them together is unworkable. Why is this concept so difficult for some people to comprehend?
